Who we are

This notice covers the transition period of the merger between London Quakers, the seven London Area Meetings, and the London Quakers Property Trust (LQPT) as we move toward becoming a single charity, Quakers in London (QiL).

What data we hold

We hold your name and email address for the purpose of sending you news, event updates, and information about Quaker life in London.

Our Legal Basis

Legitimate Interests: We process this data based on our Legitimate Interests as a religious body. It is necessary for us to move this data between our merging entities to ensure:

• Continuity: That you don't stop receiving important information during the reorganization.
• Administration: That we can manage our community records efficiently as we become one charity.

The Two-Step Transfer

Interim: Your data is currently held jointly by London Quakers, the 7 Area Meetings, and LQPT.
Completion: Upon the formal legal merger, the data will be transferred to the new single charity: Quakers in London.
