Croydon Local Meeting

Croydon Quakers warmly welcome people of all ages, genders, ethnicities, sexualities, (dis)abilities and creeds are welcome. You are welcome to join us without prior notice, regardless of personal belief or nominal religion. Quakers worship together in silence in order to still our minds and open our hearts and lives to God. You may feel more comfortable with terms such as the Light, the Spirit, the Divine, the Eternal, or something else. We have our roots in Christianity, however we don’t have a fixed creed, because we find that the search for truth can lead us to new expressions of values as well as confirming existing ones. We call these values ‘testimonies’. Today we focus on equality, peace, truth, simplicity, sustainability and community.
