The Good Law Project reports that there were 150,000 people marching today, the 25th July 2026 at London Trans+ pride.

Amonst those were a group of around 50 Quakers from across our Yearly Meeting, joined by others from Stoke Newington Synagogue and Nortcote Church. We met together as faith groups to show that God’s love is expansive, inclusive, incredible, unconditional, eternal and unprejudiced. Quakers carried a banner reminding ourselves and others of Minute 31: “Belonging is more than fitting in.”

Staying together as one big group was impossible because of the sheer magnitiude of the event with people spilling out into side streets and trying to join the march. Yet, many of us made new friendships as we marched together for equality.
